Dr. Esparza is a board-certified Primary Care Sports Medicine physician who specializes in the treatment and diagnosis of sports injuries, overuse or trauma-related orthopedic injuries and conditions. HIs goal is to individualize the treatment and return to prior activity in conjunction with rehabilitation and other specialties.
Graduate of Texas Tach University in Lubbock where he completed a sports medicine fellowship in 2014, and previously faculty at home residency program Northridge Family Medicine an affiliate of UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. Has also acquired experience in management of acute injuries through work at different Emergency Departments in Texas and Arizona. Currently interested in newer biological modalities implemented in sports medicine including Plasma Rich Platelet therapy (PRP) and Stem Cell therapy.
